Source Farms

Adding on to the ecosystem of The Ground, Source Farms is a collective of farmers committed to supplying organic, grass-fed, responsible proteins. The client wanted to convey a sense of sophistication along with the down-to-earth permaculture that surrounds the nearby regenerative farms.

The beginning of the project took a lot of strategizing to find the delicate balance between sophistication and the grounded, rural nature of farm life. The visual identity reflects the members of The Ground itself—elegant, bold, and passionate, with a sense of true grit.

The Brief

  • Develop a brand that reflects both sophistication and grounded, agricultural nature of regenerative farming.

  • Clearly communicate Source Farms as a collective of farmers committed to organic, grass-fed, and responsibly sourced proteins.

  • Position Source Farms as a cohesive extension of The Ground ecosystem while maintaining its own distinct identity.

Brand strategy, logo & identity, packaging

With applications spanning print, digital marketing, signage, and packaging, the brand required a flexible and responsive identity system capable of adapting across touchpoints.

Secondary marks play an important role in the system, giving the identity flexibility beyond the core logo. These badges and icons are designed for a range of applications—including stickers, stamps, and custom packaging tape—adding a versatile and tactile extension of the brand.

The result is a brand that truly speaks for itself: a new, sophisticated take on what it means to be a branded farm - without adding too much “modern” and “farmhouse” to the mix.
